A DAY WITH FAMILY

On Saturday July 11, we took a drive to visit my family that lives in Cohasset, Ma. It was a special trip because we were able to see my aunt and uncle, their children and grandchildren. It was a perfect day, bright and sunny with children playing in the pool. We had a wonderful cook-out where we shared great food and family stories. This did not allow for many photos but we had a fantastic time together. We took a short stroll down to the water's edge and saw two eagles playing in flight. They live high in the treetops just across from Paul and Demetra's beautiful home. We put together a small slideshow from the day. I hope the family enjoys it. We can't wait to return to see everybody again.

Our youngest Client Ever!

This little bundle of joy is named Eve and she came to us at 2 weeks old. She was a perfect baby except for what every photographer expects from their young client when we take off her diaper. We had so much fun with Eve and her Mom, Temple. They were up for anything that we could imagine to photograph. As you can see, Eve hung from a branch to get the creative shot. It was actually photographed in the studio. Then we took her outside for her first ever set of outside photos. We put her in an antique bird bath that was laid amongst the spring ferns. The natural light filtered thru the leaves and gave the photo a wonderful, "Hidden Garden" feel. We love to photograph babies. Each one is unique and SPECIAL.

Lucas' 4th Birthday!

Before the birthday party Lucas and I ( I being Jackie's partner, Lance) spent some time together playing and talking about one of his favorite subjects, dinosaurs, of course! A grandson makes you remember how to get in touch with your lighter child-like side. You can see the curiosity in his eyes and the nature of his funny side as we played , laughed and shared what will become memories for both of us.

I recently finished the wedding album of Tara and James Miller. They were a great couple and we had a fantastic time photographing their wedding. I designed a 10x10 album with 30 pages of photos. Tara and James were gracious enough to select a few of their favorites and I had free reign to pick the rest so the album would tell the story of their day. I enjoy the creativity in designing. Tara and James, Thanks for allowing us to be your wedding photographers and we wish you a marriage filled with love and many happy memories.

"King and Queen of Hearts"

We absolutely had a blast with Karla and Sam at their wedding. They were married at St. Paul the Apostle's Church  in Schenectady and we were so fortunate to have the cherry blossoms blooming at their peak for group pictures. I believe that the blossoms knew that Karla and Sam were such special people that they gave everything they had to make beautiful photos. The reception was held at the Italian American Community Center, in Albany, N.Y. After mountains of home-made cookies supplied by Karla's Mom and Aunts, dancing to a 8 piece band, and absorbing the energy of the reception, we left wishing that we could be family members and go home with all of them.  We truly  enjoyed this wonderful family!!
